Review for book :

“Carrier Guide for AeSI Students”, as the title says is certainly quite helpful (if not much) for new comers and for those too, who are in their struggling phase of Sec-A or Sec-B of Society. Inspiring! Motivational and ‘A Must read’, I’d say. In Simple language, author has put up a lot of effort to share his experience with AeSI with a handful piece of advices on almost every page that may be game changer for AeSIans if they really follow it. The book starts with an introduction of author’s entry in AeSI, in which he explains how like everyone he was not fully aware of AeSI and didn’t take it seriously, how the things had gone like bouncer over his head and he managed to clear only one paper in one year. This first chapter itself gives a big learning from the question he asked with himself and that has changed his life. And it was that one question that made him work hard enough to reach IIT-Kgp. He precedes his second chapter sharing another tip that helped him scored well. The book includes articles from teachers and alumni of GIE; they all have a piece of advice and tip to help AeSIans out. Reader will definitely get a boost in his/her confidence and energy. Author moves on telling the story of many AeSIans that how they create mess (problem) for themselves while not telling truth at their home and why it should be avoided. Articles “Biggest lose” & “Ahead of Fear” are the best part of books that tells you why losing to self is the biggest loss and why we should not get feared of any circumstances. He offers solutions too. From Tips for Exam, Gate, and M.S. interview, one may fetch a lot of information hardly available in market or Google. Author himself faced all and did well, in my view may guide you in a much better way than anyone else can. Inclusion of list of Institutes for higher studies and list of organisations where AeSIans are studying/working has its own importance that will help you choose/decide your future institute/organisation to study/work. Every article is short/ well written/and exciting. And they will work as energy tonic for AeSIans. At last, I’d appreciate the author’s attempt of sharing his experiences along with his learning that will certainly make you feel motivated. Though it may not be a complete medicine to cure your illness but yes to some extent you will be able to recover your health, and boost your confidence. I recommend this book to every AeSIans.
